History

Location

Vernal offers excellent schools, both public and private, and Utah State University as a branch in the area. There is also an excellent technological school, the Uintah Basin Applied Technology College.

Vernal is also home to a small regional airport, with the Salt Lake City International airport around 3 hours away by car. Salt Lake City is home to several amusement parks, water parks, aquariums, and an excellent zoo.
