During the 2024 hunting seasons, hunters in Metcalfe County harvested 1,594 deer and 340 turkeys. The property is near Adair County line and less than 1 mile from Cumberland County, both of which are within Zone 2 for the statewide bear season.

A county road runs in front of the property, however, at this time there are no devleoped trails or roads within the property and there are no utilites on the site.

The property is only 15 minutes from Edmonton, 1 45 hours from Louisville and 2 hours from Nashville.
