Land Description
The Pineland consists of 800 acres, more or less, of developed quail woods, duck ponds, a fish pond, cypress bays and a beautifully restored 1820's home along with other outbuildings, all furnished. Walkways and driveways have been rebuilt using plantation mix granite, the grounds re-landscaped and a wood fence with brick corners added to the front of the main house.
Bird hunting, aka quail hunting in the south, is the current owner's passion and he has built a successful early-release program through habitat development, predator control and supplemental feeding. A dove field and duck ponds compliment the quail hunting. Deer and turkey are abundant as are bass and bream in the fish pond.
The upland soils are very productive for timber, food plots and agricultural production. The wetland soils of the cypress bays offer additional impoundment opportunities for duck.
This sale includes all furnishings and fixtures in the main house and guest house.
