Chandler was born and raised in Northeast Alabama. Throughout his life, he has been an avid hunter and fisherman, even fishing the MLF Toyota Series before working a position overseas. He has spent most of his adult life working in vocational ministry. First with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, then with the Scott Dawson Evangelistic Association, and lastly with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, where he planned and executed stadium events/crusades internationally. Eventually, Chandler moved back home to Guntersville, AL, to be able to spend more family time with his wife (Ashley) and newborn baby girl (Zealy Wren)!
